Meet the Owner
Kaden Penner

Kaden has a degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Guelph, where he specialized in automotive design. After finishing school, he decided to combine his experience designing and manufacturing intricate moving parts with his family's construction experience.
These different skills allow Tulip Tiny Homes to create novel features like the folding second floor, opening up housing possibilities never before available on the market.
Our Mission
Housing is so expensive now that it's impossible for many people to break away from perpetual renting and buy a home of their own. Starter homes used to be a great way to begin building personal equity, but now even a cheap conventional house is too expensive for most people. Our TinyHomes are designed to be a more manageable first step into home ownership. The houses themselves cost far less than a conventional house, and the ability to move them around means you don't have to start by buying your dream property; you can always upgrade your real estate later.

Making our homes Ontario Building Code compliant allows them to be installed just about anywhere in the province. This allows people to use them as primary or accessory residential dwelling units, even in cities, giving new homeowners far more options for buying or renting land for their TinyHome. Do you have friends or family with yard space?... see if you can put a TinyHome there until you've saved up for your own land!

We hope our TinyHomes will allow many people to enter the housing market, and others to further expand their equity through accessory dwelling units that can be used to affordably house others.
